Family heirloom light fixture.

This is a chain hung light fixture that has been in my family for over 50 years. I don't know its total age or history. It has six beautiful 3/4 inch thick, individually-cut glass panes that fit in only one position around the fixture, as the metal frames around each pane have been forged to fit only that one pane. I've always wanted to research the history of this light. Does anyone have any hunches, input or counsel? Much thanks.
