On the back in pencil it says 'The old Puppe [???] Homestead on Dakota St, San Antonio'. That name does not sound right at all. It's a nice little watercolor and ink in an old metal frame. i really like it!

I thought that it was an 'e' that ended the name of the house. But it's the beginning of the word 'homestead'.
