Hello! Like in previous posts I stated that I collect Confederate themed items. I really like unlicensed knockoffs of General Lee made by manufacturers to take advantage of the popularity of The Dukes of Hazzard. Here are some small sized cars in my collection. All were made around '81 except one.
    1. The white car is a mystery, just says Taiwan. Had some kind of launcher evidently. If anybody knows anything about it. Please let me know.
Next to it is a Kidco red Corvette. Also a launcher. I got a great deal on it. I'd like to upgrade to a nice one with a launcher eventually.

    2. Next up is a red Zee Toys Charger. I like this one, cool color and graphics. It's hard to find especially in good condition.
An orange Matchbox "Revin' Rebel" sits next to it. There is a white roofed version slightly harder to find

3.MidgeTOY made a line of ripoffs called Dixie Chargers. Pretty obvious reference to DOH. There was a loose Mustang made. Also pictured is a packaged set with a Orange Battle flag topped Vette. They have a Daisy's jeep and Cooter's pick-up clone. Theu made different combos with a police also. A orange colored package us harder to find and costs usually at least twice as much as the white one.

    4. Of course if the title of the article is "Hot Wheel sized" you need to include Hot Wheels. If "Dixie Charger" is already taken, then you'll have to call them "Dixie Challenger" so you don't ripoff someone who is ripping off the legal copyright owner. This was made in the early 80's. They made a chrome version ehich is rarer and very nice. There are ones with. different graphics without the battle flag. Last and least IMO is the double engined Hot Wheel made in '93.
    Thanks for viewing!
