Found by John Cullison "Found east of the stone wall- Wheatfield".
From Rosensteel Collection. Pennsylvania. "Scovill Button Co, Waterbury".
Who was John Cullison? He came back from WWII with a terrible head wound,
and he looked so bad that he could not get hired at a decent job. So he came
to search the woods near the Gettysburg fields for the relics of the battle.
He became one of the first to use the new Mine(metal) detectors, and he found
a huge amount of items. Today, of course, it is not legal to hunt relics on the Park Land
near Gettysburg.
