    Hi all

I picked this up via my work and I'm a bit lost as to what I have. It's a lovely mirror with a copper effect behind the glass, and the bevelled detail is very well done. It is very good quality and I imagine was quite expensive in it's day. It's quite heavy and is 2ft in diameter. What i'd like to know is a rough date and a possible maker. I can't even find any searching around.

Anything you can tell me would be great.

    Thank you as always.
    Hamish

A lot of these were made with a coloured glass, like the blue mirrors of the 50's to 60's.

Thank you. I did think about the 1950s but I seem to recall similar ones made in the 20s/30s by people like Tiffany etc, so wasn't sure. There is a registration number on the chain fittings, so that may give me a date if I can find it.

Oh and I apologise, I didn't realise the photographs were sideways!
