Not sure of the medium used I can’t locate the artist it’s from 1891 looks like miss mw bonsall received from an antique store closing

It's not from 1891 - that's when the copyright was granted. Google some 1891 paintings and you'll see.
Who is the artist
Mary Waterman Bonsall ? Needs more research to be sure because it doesn't look that old.
