I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with these ring marks on the outside of the band. This ring came from Belarus and was previously dated from 1900-1909 and listed as a probably alexandrite. I have no clue if it is or not, but it does change from a purple/red color indoors to a cool silvery bluish/green outside. I have no idea what the band is... It looks like 2 different rings were combined. The front part with the setting looks like maybe 9 or 12 carat gold and the back is probably silver. I'm just confused by it and I'm hoping somebody has some insight because I'd really love to know more. It really is a beautiful ring. Thanks!
I think it has rose gold around the stone, (I can't remember what it's called), with silver or possible white gold. I can't help with the marks I'm afraid.
A very pretty ring indeed,
Thank you, Gillian! I just added a better picture in natural light so the color difference is more apparent.
