This is a very iridescent green Carnival Glass Bowl. I picked it up on our local market stall, as it stood out it was so shiny! I have found out it is Imperial Heavy Grape pattern, and interestingly it has a slight glow under UV light, especially on the bottom and edges. It is 7" across. Does any one know the likely date of it? It is in very good condition.

the color, silvery iridescence on green glass, was named Helios by Imperial. The closest I find in the catalog I have showing this large cluster of grapes in the bottom is #700 c1910-29; but that bowl has a scalloped edge and diamond optic. DDoty calls yours without the optics a 'variant'. Another interesting read on the pattern is at Carnival Heaven:

The carnival heaven was an interesting read! I find it very hard to believe my bowl is that old, as it’s in such good condition. I thought it would be a new piece! Thanks Tallcakes for the info.

does yours happen to have a maker's mark of any kind?

I couldn’t find one. Would it be on the base?

I wouldn't expect to see a makers' mark on this but just wondering; typically the mark is on the bottom and was most consistent in later years. It's not unusual to see glass in fairly pristine condition, as it seem to often be stored in cabinets and rarely used.
