I just went to a flea market this morning and came back with this beautiful Underwood & Underwood stereoscope plus two boxes full of cards for it. The patent date on it is June 14th 1881. The two boxes of cards are of Jerusalem and Yellowstone park. There must be about 75 cards Combined! There are a few extra cards that are cute :) This one's for my dad!

Nice viewer-- sets of stereo cards are desirable as well.

The real photo view cards are the most desirable.

This item is still my favourite toy. The first time I used one, I knew I had to have one.

Agree! Remember these were the 19th century radio/ tv.

Thanks! I had seen these viewers online before, but had never seen one in real life. I just had to have this one. The cards that I got with the viewer are made by the same company, and most are real photos of tourist and religious spots. There's a few in there that don't belong to either card set and must be lithographs. They're fun to look at too, though!
