A very unusual Bernard Instone bracelet and ring. It's not marked but the seller did say that the person they bought it from said that they have had it for many years and they had bought the pair as Bernard Instone.
The gold flowers to me look very Instone and the cabochon Moonstones have a beautiful hue to them, the bracelet is mainly silver .
The bracelet is made up of six silver plaques, rectangular in shape with rounded corners and finely hammered finish. Each plaque is linked with silver wire work in the style of a Celtic knot.
The ring is also silver with gold flowers and is definitely a partner to the bracelet.
Many thanks for looking.
Lovely moonstone bracelet, your Instone jewelry collection is amazing
Such a beautiful set Jean, congratulations!
Thank you Newfd it is beginning to get larger by the day, I'm trying to find pieces that I can match up.
Thank you Ken, you must have an enormous Trifari collection!
Hi Karen, I do like this unusual Instone bracelet and ring they look stunning together and them Moonstones are just perfect. Thanks so much for your comment.
Just lovely Jean! :-)
Thank you Judy, to be honest I haven't seen similar work of B. I and I wasn't sure if it was by him but the seller who is honest as the day is long was certain it was by him. The person he bought it from who had it for many years was absolutely certain it was by him. It does have a hammered finish, the golden flowers and the lovely Moonstones, the thing that through me was the celtic wirework which to my knowledge I haven't seen with his work before.
Many thanks
