    Slim finds and very crowded everywhere I went today. Maybe because it rained all weekend so folks came out on Monday instead. ;( I only found a couple of items that I wanted to spend a small amount on. One was this inkwell, 2 5/8" square by 1 7/8 tall. I found several similar ones on ebay so it may have been very common in its day. It is heavy pressed glass and originally had a glass cap with a crosshatch pattern on it similar to the base, which mine is missing. No idea who made these or when. I don't often see inkwells where I live. Nice little hunk of glass.

      Nice design though. Looks a bit Deco but could well be much earlier.

      Agree. There is a lot of random wear on the corners on the bottom.
