      Hard to tell from the photo. Looks like they be the kind of swords used by the Renaissance Faire type. Those are good quality swords that are weapon quality. Or they could be decorator quality swords which are of much lesser quality. I would take them out of the garden.

      Agree with fortapache, take them out of this moistly condition, don't clean them, just superficial and bring them a conservatory museum for carbon analyses, they gone be more than happy to take a look.
