OK -- so I 'caved' again and went back to the same (temporarily local) Goodwill I visited last weekend a couple days later on my lunch hour, to see if these two HAEGER vases were still sitting there, and they were. (but they aren't anymore...<lol>) One is a sorta dusty pink spherical design roughly 6" high/wide, and the other is pastel yellow and about 8"h by 4"w.
Guessing these are both from the later time of HAEGER's production because of their (only) paper labels identifying their manufacture (the one on the yellow vase has a friggin 'barcode' on it, even?!!) thus they might not be terribly uncommon at all -- still, I find them kind of pleasant in both color and shape. The last pic shows both with the neon green ROYAL HAEGER piece I did pick up on my first visit to the store last weekend -- gotta admit I think they make a fun 'grouping' all together, even if only (for now) to adorn a cheap piece of motel room furniture for only the maids to view...? ;-) :-) [oh, and speaking of that...sorry for the probably less-than-optimum pic quality, it ain't easy to generate good photo lighting in a motel room after dark... <sigh>]
Lovely pieces, the colors look great together in fourth pic
My gracious THANKS to fortapache, Caperkid, Newfld, TassieDevil, Brunswick, & nutsabotas6 for sharing the <loves> -- and to Newfld for adding your kind comment! I still think they look fun together with their various shapes and colors (now with the bright yellow 'egg' too?!) even though all are relatively 'simple' pieces in their individual designs.
One further kinda fun (?) detail about the pastel yellow piece which is difficult to see in the pics -- it is actually slightly "lopsided" in shape (intentionally or not, I don't know) such that its top edge isn't quite parallel to its bottom...?
