I'm guessing this is one of those "miracle skin" dolls. Although, I'm not seeing anything miraculous about it... It's a tad horrifying. The only mark I can find is 16 on the back of her neck. The head feels more composition than hard plastic and she has teeth. She has sleep eyes that still open and close, and Im guessing they're glass, but I haven't tried cleaning them up to double check. I've seen dolls like this marked for Ideal, but does anyone know who might have made this one? Ideal as well or just a really nice knock off?
Yes a magic skin doll . These did not hold up well over the years . Hard to say Maker Ideal was a the big maker but several other companies including England made them . Here is a Ad that describe what the magic skin is all about . It is supposed to feel like real skin .
