My wife’s grandmother has this set in her house. We’ve been told by various people that it’s very old and has value, but no one can tell us anymore about it. One person said their grandmother had a “similar” set and it was made by Bassett. I’m not able to find any marking anywhere on it, aside from a very faint black stamp on the back of the chest. The only characters I can make out are “.F.C ‘390”.
Can anyone shed some light on the history of these pieces?
