These are some german model trains HO scale made in the 60´s, the locomotives from this era were full metal, the base of the cars was made with pressed steel, and metal wheels, making them pretty heavy, so they look even more realistic when some volts are applied in the analog tracks.
All of those are great looking cars. I especially like the cranes.
Very nice diesel!!
Marklin trains are works of art. Especially vintage ones such as these. Like Apache said the crane is extra cool and I've always loved military loads on rail cars like the flat car with tank. Marklin is up with all other true craftsman toy makers of all the ages. The tank car and the crane are real prizes IMO.
Thank you for the loves and warm comments! The metal locos are amazing indeed, Will post more cool vintage Marklin stock :)
Obrigado.
Is the car in the second image Märklin 4605 ?
Have seen them in green, too.
I mean, in red. Yours is green.
You are correct Ivan, this model was first produced in green with the light blue or orange cardboxes. later on Marklin produced the red version with the dark blue or the windowed cardboxes.
