    So I asked my husband if he had an old cash register for a production that one of our daughters is in. This is what he had...much older than what we needed for the production, but SO COOL! I am going to have to look up the serial number, etc. It is huge, and it so heavy. Any ideas what year it might be?

      I'd guess a bit newer than '24, if that's actually an electric power cord draped over it?

      Still, the 1st thing to check with old NCR machines is to look and see if there is a paper label glued to the bottom side of the cash drawer -- if so, it will likely date the machine and probably give the name of its original purchaser too...?

      Appears to be a National Cash Register Model 852 circa 1924. I did see one on eBay, but rules don't allow me to post the link here.
