Old Rebel

Hello, I'm relatively new here and don't know exactly where to share this. This is a figurine of an old Confederate soldier standing. A friend of mine got him in the 80's and gave him to me because he knew I collect such items. He's got a musket, with a battle flag attached, as he salutes. He's pretty grizzled and looks tired, probably from all the battles he fought in. He stands 11" tall, but he's slouching and would be taller if age hadn't caught up with him. I think he's well sculpted , particularly his face with the aged wrinkled expression. The only markings are Speciality Molds 198(4?). Can anyone give me some info on this Rebel and Specialty Molds? Thanks for allowing me to share this old soldier.
