Vintage Airplane Lamp featuring an Original Cast Aluminum DC-3

Here is a lamp CREATED from period and vintage items. The cast aluminum Douglas DC-3 was cast some time before WW2. Its wingspan in 12.50". The base was also pre-war Frankart and is similar to those reproductions from Sarsaparilla from the 1980's. The globe is more recent with the World Globe shade 1960's. When finished the model will have 1940's Pan Am Markings especially since the the shade shows North and South American Continents and the typical routes of Pan Am's Atlantic Division.
