Original Beatles, "Give Peace A Chance" Anti Vietnam War Protest Poster. UC Berkeley student made in 1970. Acquired from the son of a Berkeley student who graduated in 1971 and was there during the passionate protests of the era anc collected and cared for these posters he collected. I find the certainly unlicensed image of the Beatles, an important blend of the iconic group with the anti-war sentiment of the students. "Give Peace A Chance" became the mantra of the movement and this spontaneous use of the slogan and the creators (more or less, it was John's "baby") something I had to splurge on for the collection.
Sadly, - that's just not the American way. War is just too big of a business ! Sad, but true.
