Got these from an old friend recently, they have been hanging on the wall for many decades, and needed a good clean!
Made from wood and metal, all parts move except the triggers. They measure just under twelve and thirteen inches. There is a little wear to the wood on the back sides due to hanging over the fireplace for many years, and I will tidy it up and stain and oil the areas where needed, and add some flints to the hammers.
ADDITIONAL- Found this for sale, the owner's father bought it in Cape town in the early 1960's, so a place of origin and rough date.
