    I have owned this for 12 years, It works beautifully. The dial is an amber in color when on, inside the dial it has 4 settings:
    Shortwave, Standard Broadcast, Mega Cycles & Kilo Cycles, I have no idea what all those mean and cannot find any info on this piece, I would love to know what year this was made and some history on it. The tag on the inside of the cabinet says Model 211, I have searched the internet with no such luck.

      You can more than likley find all the information that you want about this radio if you go on the Antique Radio Forum. Those guys are the best in finding out anything to do with radios. Most of them are collectors and of course they restore and repair antique radios
