We recently purchased a Nursing Rocker. Don't know much about it other than we were told it is an antique. Interested in learning more about it if anyone has info. There are no makers marks on it and no hardware holding it together. It is rather fragile and we don't sit in it. It has one spindle on the back that has been replaced (2nd from right,) unsure when or why.
40 inches tall
19.5 inches wide at front of seat
When looking for info on this chair I have been told the following:
-Someone told me it could be an import from Scandinavia around the 1950's.
-I've also been told it looks very old possibly 1810-1910, early American.
Need some better close up photos in order to evaluate.
Looks like a typical rocker-- don't know about the validity of the specific "nursing" ID.

It's definitely a nursing rocker. The size is too small for a typical adult but not small enough for a child
