    Seems to be an old Mexican helmet, no idea of the history. Purchased in Mexico by grandfather. Would love to know more about it.

      You don't throw us easy ones . It has a semblance to the French Adrian helmet of the early 1900's. Maybe had some connection to the French control of Mexico? Hey, not my field & I'm guessing. Hey, Scottvez ! Clean-up on isle 1 !!

      Yea it looks roman!saw in a movie one of the soldier wearing such a helmet type while piercing Jesus!
