I worked for a company in Kansas City for a number of years, called Valley Foodservice --in the 80's and we serviced about 400 Wendy's restaurants. Dave Thomas (Wendy's Founder) and my personal mentor, had this golf bag and custom golf clubs donated -he told me- from the President (Robert Goizueta) of Coke at the time, for the Wendy's Three Tour Challenge, to benefit adoption. It turns out that my boss at the time, bought this bag and clubs and gave them me at the celebrity auction, and I am NOT an avid golfer. These new clubs and COKE golf bag, have been sitting in my garage since around 1991, and were last touched the year that Dave died. Wendy and I spoke of them while at Dave's funeral. That is another story. Clubs and bag are Brand new, virtually never used. Turns out, this may be a pretty unique and somewhat hard to come by item. Not understanding the value, I was going to trade them in at a sporting goods store for 50 bucks for some scuba equipment, when the fellow that owns our company said, I should not do that, as these had much more value and I should research this a bit before I parted with the set and the bag.

Are these bags hard to come by?

No idea, but they are super cool. There are some coke experts who frequent Show & Tell, so I'm sure in the next few days someone will let you know.

To new to be in any of the collector books. Still a very cool item. If I was a golfer, I would be throwing $$$ at you. Have not seen this before, but then again, I'm not a golfer. Might not be worth more then just the clubs of equal quality are. Lets wait to see what Ray has to say. He is far more knowledgeable then I am. But, after the last person, he may not even respond. The last person freaked out after being told his item did not have much value, and went on a personal attack, insulting him, and being all rude. We come on here to help people like you, and the last guy out. Not to be insulted if you don't get the response you are looking for. If I were a golfer though, I would want it. Ray-

http://www.cocacolaclub.org/2005_nc_regular_auction.shtml. Did some looking around. Posted 3 links for you. Did not find an exact match. The one on EBay has 3 bids currently. $50.00. 2006 coca-cola club sold for $65.00. 2005 coca-cola club sold for $80.00. All of these are bags only. If I were you and trying to sell, I would throw it up on EBay, and see where it lands. Hope this helps. best regards, Lonewolf.

I agree that the bag is similar to many I have seen (and donated) but is still a nice addition. Such bags run $300 plus when new and with clubs and a good story that includes Goizueta and Dave Thomas, well it should be worth something to a collector. E-Bay or Coca-Cola Collectors Club would be my 1st choice.

Just saw one sell on Ebay. Identical, for around $130.00

Bags are not that rare, but the clubs seem to be much harder to come by.
