Brought this 12 years ago from a yard sale for nothing. It is very heavy. The metal, whether brass or bronze is very ornate It is a burnt orangwith cream in color with gilded overglazing outlining. Flower and vine plant design. Glazed is crackled. It read on the bottom in fine print "Not for food use. May poison food. For decoration purposes only."
