I purchase these yesterday and believe they are brass African beads. They are very heavy, measuring 2" x 1" each. They came strung on thick raffia. Too heavy to wear, so what do you do with them? They were pretty inexpensive, didn't want to leave them. If anyone knows anything about them, feel free to chime in.

Very interesting-they do look like little barrels. Wonder how old they are??
