    Just a wee, unassuming bit of Tango glass that I op shopped last week...cased clear over black (a deep purplish - red against a strong light source) with bottom - up spatter in a muted red & tan. It measures 11 cm tall, 6.5 across the polished top rim, & 5.2 cm across the base. No markings at all.

      I believe this is a Welz piece. Although the rim is different than I normally see, the basic shape is the same, as is the foot. The size also falls in line with known similar examples. The decor is also seen in a couple of known shapes.
