Can anyone tell me anything about this artist?
It is signed "Morley" but I can't seem to find anything more about him.

I bought a very similar painting many years ago. All tough it is oil on canvas, mine seems to be just a decorating piece and the painter of my painting is either unknown or doesn't exist (I still like my painting for what it is). I hope you have better luck with your painting.

This is a common genre of scene on decorative paintings painted in shops in Mexico in the 80s and 90s and then in other countries like Taiwan and China later. They are often signed with the names of a fictitious artist. Sometimes a name, Burnett, for instance was reused many times. Often the frames say "Made in Mexico" on these paintings. I have had a couple of these myself and my still have them in a closet somewhere. Decorative value only.
