I inherited this chair from my great grandmother and am looking for information about it. I've looked at hundreds of antique rockers online and have found similar ones but not with the diamond back. Does anyone know anything about it? Thank you
Most makers put their own takes on rockers. Unfortunately interest has waned on collecting these. Of the thousands of furniture makers that there once were, less than 3% left any info of their business. Although there were many makers in Canada also shipping early rockers, possibly go to your local library history rooms to find makers ads in your area.
