Can anyone tell me if this is a real cast iron wood or coal burning stove or if it's only for decoration? Totally new to the wood burning stove stuff. I've also not found anything online about this particular brand. Glow Cyclone?

I'm not sure I would understand why anybody would make a fake stove ? Of course, there are a lot of Yankees out there !! LOL !!
Blunderbuss2, I was thinking the same thing lol! but I know that back in the day they did make toys like this for children so I wasn't sure. It's super small so that's what made me consider it might be a "toy" but also because I'm not finding anything at all online for the brand so I'm apprehensive.
You didn't mention what the dimensions of the stove are, but laundry stoves were frequently smaller than something like cook stove or parlor stove. Many of them had a tank that mounted where the stove pipe goes the tank would be filled with water to be heated for laundry or a bath. The tank had a hole up through the center for the smoke to pass through. Most of the tanks I have seen had a simple faucet at the bottom to drain the water.

Could this still be used to heat a small room even if it was intended for laundry? I would have to find a pipe to fit over the odd shape but I',m curious if it would work or not.
If all the joints are tight there is no reason it won't work to heat a room. Check all the joints, including the doors for tight fit. If you have an open joint a spark can get out and start a fire. Stove pipe shouldn't be a problem yours is pretty common shaped. They will sell you an adapter that goes from oval to round.
Thank you so much for the helpful tips!
