      I'd call them Victorian style balloon back chairs. A photo of the underside should show the age-- the photos would make me think 20th century.

      From what I see of these balloon back chairs of about 1950 or so, they are very nice. A lot of companies existed then and made traditional styles like Victorian. One of my Victorian chairs is marked 1950 and marked Eatons 1950 on the underside.

      They are Duncan Phyfe from the 40's. I have 2 exact match to yours that were my grandparents.
