I was given 2 X L&LWMC 9622 lamps after they were left in a cellar for several year's, and then readied to be thrown In a rubbish skip.
The lamps were in a sorry state, but after a clean, rewire and 2 full sets of new replacement shades they look great.
I have no idea of age or value.
Well, the plug at the end of the cord they were on would likely have given us a 10-20 year period for make, since people didn't usually rewire things.
Unfortunately whoever has removed them, had ripped the lamps out of sittue, including the cord from the bottom of the lamps, so there was no cord / plug attached. The internal cord had been stretched and the wiring from several of the sbc lamp holders had become detached. As my intention is to keep the lamps a rewire was in order both to put the lamps to use and protect my family from electrocution.
From what I know of these, they are probably from the early 1990's and I have seen similar on this site.
Thanks Phil I do know l&l wmc
produced lamps from 1937 until 1978 when it closed down.
The glass shades are gorgeous, I have done this too, including the rewiring. Love these old Art Nouveau style metal designs.
