Hello truth friends Collectors Community,-12-07-2018----11:30 AM-Ontario, Canada.
I was fortunate and lucky yesterday at my local Salvation Army to be there at the good time when i found this Painted Enamel Brooch, that depicted Napoleon & Josephine in a garden, in very good condition, the brass mount is ornate quite nicely, the only mark i see is the the number #42 impressed on the back.
This sash or brooch pin is 2.25 inches by 2 inches wide.
Many thanks for looking.

Good find, Alan!
I love porclain brooches. I think they are not so popular to collectors right now but should be. The painting is often good and the romantic motives should interest any true jewelry collector. Wonderful find!
Ha ha, should put my glasses on. You did write enamel brooch. The back looks like porclain to me. Sorry if I was wrong...Are you sure it's painted enamel? You normaly see enamel painted to some kind of metall.
