I did a complete restorative on these Falkenstein lamps that I believe are a pair of his earliest. The bases were rough like sandpaper that had lost there finish and the switches and wiring was a fire hazard. I carefully taped them off and repainted these in a antique copper and re-wired them so they light up on the inside.I just have to find the right shades. I’ve had seen a lot Falkenstein lamps over the years but none that are as opulent and iridescent as these with blue and purple colors radiating from the pearl white finish. The body style is also unique with 3/4” wide by 1/2” deep groves going completely around the glass bodies filled with a brass like mud.Make sure you keep these at least 4 feet apart at night and not right next to each other. These rascals had babies as you can see in the last picture and now I have 2 more electrical outlets to feed. Thanks for looking.
Beautiful pearly iridescent lamps, both illuminated and not - and the "babies" are so cute!
Thanks Jenni and Ken.I appreciate the kind words.
