The shape was immediately obvious when I first saw this piece, despite trying to fool me with it's fancy applications. Then there was the signature, a known Kralik french export etched mark : the stacked TCHÉCO-SLOVAQUIE. Probably dates to the 1930s. This one did the rounds through France for a few weeks and I was worried that it may have been lost in the french Alps before eventually managing to find it's way to its new home.

Another one that will stand out.....and for me totally suited to the French market!
I love this piece!!- seen it in crystal-gold. The handle motif on a common shape is fantastic too. I think the application was widely used on Kralik pastel tango-type anf the pieces I call ancient texture with the sandpaper texture
