Antique Hitch ot Goat or Ox Yoke Cast Iron

I found this at a family's barn out in Wells Maine. The original owner found it had it for 52 years. He said he got it with some goats. I am not sure if it is a hitch or some part of a yoke or bridle. If anybody knows please add comments. We are curious about what it is. Help.
