So what i have here has been an ongoing mystery and search. I found this metal detecting a few years back and when i found it, it was pretty rusted bad. So me and my dad soaked it for a while and freed everything up and i painted it to help preserve it. Ive had many people look at it but no one really knows what it is?
So i was suggested this site from a co worker to try posting it here, I tired to pick the 4 best pictures of it, but i also have a video below of more pictures of it (video below) i really suggest checking that out for more pictures and close ups. any info would be appreciated! so i believe this piece to be late 1800s to early 1900s, some kind of handmade farm equipment? Made with some purpose? maybe for an animal? or for a tractor?
Theres just nothing like it out there... its definitely a handmade piece but is its design unique and one of a kind? Is its concept common for the time it was made? more questions then answers.
any info and help is really appreciated!
