Unique vintage standing Panamer radio. There is really no information at all out there on the Web that I can find when researching this piece, and believe me, I have obsessed over trying to figure it out on my own.... The radio is definitely not working when plugged in and turned on. When I open up the back, I do see some tubes in there. Any information, or leads to gather more info, would be appreciated. I need to see if this piece is actually worth investing in to have it restored. I am not an expert in this field of collectibles, but I have also seen enough older radios making me think this piece must be very uncommon, or dare I say rare?? Or maybe it is uncommon, but not desirable from a collector's point of view.... Thank you in advance for your thoughts or suggestions!!
Unique looking radio.
Sometimes its good to look for an older repair man for t.v.'s and radios or sometimes collectors in your area. I would maybe start there. Also the library is a great place as they have books on old radios and antiques (my library stocks them), The internet is not really great info unless it is something quite relevant or popular. Above your title if you scroll to top there is a space to look up old radios that have been on this site before and it is on right just above your title.
It is a search bar right after the words post an item.
Thanks PhilDMorris! I was actually thinking about finding & taking it into someone who specializes in working on older radios. And that is a good idea about the library actually. I just assume you can just find everything you want on the internet these days, and if its not there, than you have something rare....Ha! And it looks like I am currently the only person with a Panamer radio shared on this site.
