Finally completed the restoration of my 1950's truck. Second pic is original shape. Beadblasted, wirebrush, etc. Used Rustoleum Auto Primer for bare metal coat, then filled in spots with Bondo Spot Putty. Wet sanded and applied Rustoleum White primer. Wet sanded and applied Krylon Pumpkin Orange as finish. I used a heat gun sparingly to get a good smooth gloss. "Chrome" trim is Krylon Brilliant silver, I really like this stuff, but you can't use it directly on plastic. In the process of masking log trailer and stripping it. I hope to show the complete cab and trailer soon. Thanks for viewing.

Excellent restoration, the truck looks great
Now you need to put the rebel flag on it . Good gob .
Thank you both. I did consider putting a Rebel Flag on it. The Hubley Orange seems to be close to some of General Lee colors that are claimed to be the most accurate color. I can't decide. If I could print decals I could put "Hazzard County Logging" with the flag maybe.
Thanks again for your kind words.

You did a great job on that. Plus it is a great little truck.
Thanks Apache, coming from a collector of your talents, I am humbled and honored.
