So my step-dad gave me this bass a couple months back and I didn't know what it was, I thought it was just some crappy old bass he had laying around, earlier today someone told me this could be worth around $5,000, I don't know much about it, just thought I'd share

Very cool . Price will depend on any damage , cracks ect . Often if left stored strung the neck joint is separated . Thanks for sharing and hope you can play it :-)
