A friend found this doing a clean out of an old house in Boston. It's an oval table with a removable tray on top., Middle part is enclosed by glass and has a door on each side. Trying to figure out if it's a tea table with a tray or perhaps a little bar. No markings on the bottom. Would love to hear what others think. Thanks
This is what I think they call a “chocolate table” or some may call it a tea table. I have one like yours and I have a chocolate set inside.
These were probably made in the 80's to 90's. There are actually a lot of them around. You won't see them much in books as they are a "new antique."
I seen a small write-up on these a day or 2 ago. Not sure if it was on this site or not.
Keramikos, that’s what I’ve always called it :). You should post your chocolate set-would like to see it. Btw, are you Greek? Just wondering because of your screen name. I am half Greek :)

Just to add to the above comments. I have one of these at home, bought early 90s from Camden Market in London. The company specialises in reproductions. I use mine as a drinks cabinet
Thanks to Mariecollector for the enlightenment for people like keramik who doubted that it was a reproduction. My friends also had the larger 2 storey one, But I do and have seen these quite a bit.
My friends had the 2 storey one of these also but I did the show circit for antiques in the 90's so I did see my share of these. Most often they are sold as 'antique' !~
