These 2 lampshade kits are from a victorian house built in 1894. One is stamped #17 and both have favor ruhl and company New York , Boston, Chicago on them. The flowered shade is partially done and the grape shade hasn't been cut but has been punched. Wondering if they were used for oil lamps or candles. Were kits common for that era?
