Sometime in 2016 I was writing to Sandra Caldwell, one of the masterminds of the book, Sherman Jewellery, The Masterpiece Collection and she was kind enough to sell me these pieces which are pictured in the book of course. She also provided me with signed documentation that she sold this part of the collection to me and that they are the exact pieces that were pictured in the book.
This post is dedicated to Eilleen's crescent moon post which has the same colours and the same earrings.
By the way Gustave Sherman's Jewellery Boxes, brocade covered, were all marked with the words:
"Jewels of Elegance"
He used NO OTHER ADVERTISING, and anything other than those words were by the Jewellery stores which sold his work.
Extreme gorgeousness Phil, what a lovely color blend, and the feathery type brooch design is fantastic. Lucky you to get an original book piece
Yes Eileen I wanted to dedicat this to you and your crescent moon pin. Did you find your set in California where you are from ?? I wonder why so much Sherman wound up in California, its like they were panning for it all along.
Thank you Jenni, you are always so kind !~
You just keep topping your last one Phil, just gorgeous my friend.
The colors are so beautiful- stunning pieces!
Beautiful and BRILLANT BUY, Phil!
Thanks Caper, the best to you !~
Thanks Mrstyndall, you're the best !~
Gorgeous Sherman pieces!
I love the colors together and the fact that you were able to buy these. Wonderful! I also like that "Jewels of Elegance" no more and no less. So true. Wish advertising was like that still, leaving the rest of the thinking to the intelligent costumer. Thanks for sharing!
Sorry, customer :)
Thank you kyra, love to you as always !~
Always amazed at what your next post will be and never disappointed . Rare and gorgeous set Phil ! much love xoxo
Thank you Mary, love to you !~
O.K. Eileen, I did find the link and the bracelet is a humdinger if I ever saw one, now that is sensational. Usually I don't like cuff bracelets because of a bad experience but for this one I would have to ignore that and try for something like this.
Sweet Phillllll...
Thank you worthit2 for the comment !~

Thank you Eileen, you are appreciated !~
Absolutely magnificent. Phil, it is always exciting to see one of your posts come up, and this is no exception. I just finished leaving a comment on a fuchsia-and-opaque-jade set of yours, and it's so interesting how different this one feels -- due, I think, to the discreet lines of clear chatons that create a touch of separation between the contiguous areas of green and pink. A great treat as always, and how amazing is it that these are truly book pieces!
Thank you so much rhineisfine, what nice things for you to say !~
