I don't collect M urano glass but how I couldn't buy a piece of glass visiting Venice?So this is a souvenir from the kingdom of glass.It was bought at Orovetro company glass gallery.As a vendor said it comes from Pauly's collection.I mean Pauly's wasn't a producer as they ceased two years ago.Maybe from Pauly's stable.I can't read out a designer's name.
In my opinion it doesn't look like a typical Murano glass.One could think this is a pottery piece.As far as I'm concerned it was cold engraved and is similar to Afro Masai glss vases collection.
Any thoughts are welcome .

It's fantastic Ivonne! A beautiful shape, and the engraving through the black to the orange is so graphic and spectacular.
Studio Salvadore seems to use battuto and deep engraving a lot to display layers and texture.
