    Anyone know what this is? The top pushes down, there is a small punch that goes down. The side has a small opening to allow some kind of material to slide in. Thanks

      Hard to tell but it might be a "stapleless" stapler. Put two pieces of paper under the foot, all the way in, and push the plunger. If I'm right they will be fastened together with a clever folding action.
