An estate sale find yesterday. I love getting to an estate sale and they have an end of sale special of "Fill a basket for $__." So, yesterday I got the awesome deal which included this potential Tango pedestal bowl!
However, I know nothing about determining whether a piece of glass is Tango. One thing that makes me think it is Tango, is, of course, the blue line on the top edge and the dark blue to black between the bottom of the bowl and top of the pedestal. Also, it appears handblown. The rim of the bowl is not a perfect circle and you can see stress marks at the bottom of the pedestal where it opens to the foot.
One thing that makes me wonder if it is Tango is that the bottom is not solid glass and the pedestal has a hole through it. It seems as if most Tango pieces I see have solid bottoms.
And, yes, sadly, there are a few chips on the bottom. :(
The bowl is 9 & 1/2 inches wide and stands 7 & 1/2 inches tall with the pedestal.
If this is authentic old Tango glass, who would have made it? Loetz?
As you can see, I need help. Can you help me?

Though an unusual colour your bowl does have the two essentials for Tango Glass i.e. it is a solid colour with a contrast trim. I have a Tango Glass pedestal bowl with a foot constructed in the same way as yours, so that wouldn't rule it out either. Many companies made Tango Glass so identification can be difficult. Darker colours are more rare, but not unknown.
Thank you so much sklo42!!! The dark color did make me wonder whether it was authentic Tango. It is so interesting to know that such colors were rare but did occur. Also, I'm happy to know that you have a Tango Glass pedestal bowl with a foot constructed like my bowl. I truly appreciate your knowledge and information!!
I think it may be produced by Kralik, they were the only ones as far as I knowwho made tango glass decors in this type of green glass. Here is another compote example that is theirs. I cant say I have seen your's before.
