Ever have a good laugh at your own expense, well last night was a moment of many. I recieved this amberina decanter and what I though was a small oil decanter from my mom 6 years ago, all the while searching for a stopper that might work or fit on the large decanter. Last night while flipping through similar images I found the exact one and guess what, the oil bottle was the stopper! Took me way to long to figure that one out, a very slow and funny Sarah moment on my part.
Very cool! It looks like Blenko, Empoli is the brand? That is pretty funny..
EZa I thought it might be a Blenko #6315 decanter bottle at first, but that's when I ran into a few other Empoli examples.

Newfld, this one had been sitting side by side for 6 years, dumb du dumb dumb????
Not at all I can understand it, the stopper is large so it looks like a little amberina bottle too, but now they're happily together :)

Yeah, makers in the Empoli region had a good old go at copying Blenko. This is a nice job, such a great piece!
