I acquired this piece of pottery from someone who said they had bought it "some time ago", and he didn't know where it had originated. The piece has two very distinct markings on the bottom right of the side with the spoon images. Can anyone identify the marks or tell me anything about the piece?
    Thank you
    Jen

If you are in America, you might search The Marks Project site - https://www.themarksproject.org/browse-marks
Why potters use these chop marks is a mystery to me - it's like they each think they're going to be a star instead of an obscure potter.

Yes, the marks project is the first place I looked. Count come up with anything there. ????
