Some glass collectors might think I am crazy with my new glass direction, or already believed that anyway....lol
I find this American stretch glass enchanting, and a great foil for all the highly colorful heavy Art Deco Czech glass I own and display. This is my second pieces, I try to assemble a group that fits in well together. Not too big, not too dark, and not too complex.
Pictures taken in daylight, the yellow is highly UV reactive. The first image, in same location, with a black paper board background and a small hand held UV light inside the top opening.
Shetlar Glass is a good online resource for American stretch glass. They have this one as U.S. Glass/Tiffin #151 flared cupped vase; color is most often called topaz...
This is great TallCakes, I do have that site for stretch glass information saved in my bookmarks. Figured the color was topaz, but not sure by who. Thank you for your help. :-)
seems like Tall Cakes was right, this yellow coupe is Tiffin strech lemon glass, even if the glass sites dont include it for Tiffin. Usually seen in satin blue.
